County Center Policies

In light of the heightened security climate in the nation, the Westchester County Center has reviewed its security systems and procedures. As a result of this review, and with the goal of continuing to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our guests and tenants and co-workers, the County Center is adding numerous procedures and security measures to its existing comprehensive security program as prescribed by the Westchester County Department of Public Safety.

Please be advised that all guests will be subject to search, at the County Center staff’s discretion, of their person and/or possessions (including but not limited to: briefcases, packages, camera bags, backpacks and handbags), which may be allowed entry after such search. Guests with prohibited articles will be turned away at the entrances to return items to their vehicle or dispose of the items. No storage or “check-in area” will be provided. Enforcement will be without exception.


Single-frame and flash photography are allowed. All video and motion picture cameras are strictly prohibited. Neither lighting nor camera support pods are permitted. Camera equipment may not obstruct the view or path of travel of others.

Promoters of events at the County Center may ban the use of all cameras for specific shows. Check event listings for details.


The Westchester County Center is committed to providing each guest with an enjoyable atmosphere in clean and safe surroundings and to making each patron’s visit a positive experience. The County Center is fully accessible and accommodating. Wheelchair seating is located in the Orchestra level (first floor) of the Main Hall. Please notify the box office in advance of any physical limitations that may restrict seating assignments.


For your safety, we recommend that you arrive at the County Center one hour before the event time for seated events, as you will be proceeding in to the arena, with the general public. Regardless of the section marked on your ticket, please proceed to the accessible  entrance ramp located to the right of the Main Entrance (Central Avenue) of the building. Tickets for patrons with disabilities, subject to availability, can be purchased by calling 914-995-4050, weekdays during business hours, or at the Westchester County Center Box Office, Tuesday – Friday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday – Monday closed.


There is no first aid station; however, County Center personnel are available to offer assistance if needed.


The Westchester County Center, has exclusivity over all food and beverages consumed in the building. No outside food and/or beverages are permitted. Authorized concessions located within the facility proudly serve Nathan’s Famous, Carvel, David’s Cookies and Pepsi products.


Promoters of events at the Westchester County Center may utilize metal detectors and wands administered under the authority of the Westchester County Department of Public Safety.


Guests are not allowed to smoke in the Westchester County Center as per the Westchester County Department of Health.


No laser pointers, noisemakers, whistles, air horns of any type, coolers, bottles, cans, drugs and weapons of any kind are allowed in the County Center.


All programs, novelties, T-shirts, souvenirs, etc. must be sold by the County Center or its authorized representatives. All such merchandise must be consigned over to the County Center or it authorized representative before the event. The County Center receives 25% of gross receipt on all merchandise sold.


Guests exiting the County Center during an event must present a ticket stub upon re-entry
